Eligible Class Members:

All persons or entities who or which, on or before October 30, 2023, purchased or leased any on-road vehicle equipped and originally sold or leased in the United States with a “Hino” engine from engine Model Year 2010 through and including engine Model Year 2019.

Case History:

In 2022, a class action lawsuit was filed in the Southern District of Florida alleging that the emission levels in certain Hino trucks were misrepresented and exceeded regulatory limits in violation of federal and state laws. Since then, the class has reached a settlement with the Defendants in the total amount of $237.5 million (this settlement is pending final approval). Distribution of these funds will occur if and when final approval is granted and after the completion of the claims process.
